About to Change
Two major changes are in the works for O2DA Training…
First, due to numerous requests; we have moved our old blog to our website, keeping things more tightly packed and easier for you to access, thereby eliminating multiple tab openings.
Please bear with us as we work out the formatting kinks…
Second, as I have predicted earlier this year, O2DA Training will indeed be increasing it’s tuition fees this coming spring.
As I have said multiple times “I could easily double my course prices and you would still be getting a training deal of a lifetime.”
No, we are not doubling the price, but it will be raised. Make no mistake, our training is second to none. No-one even comes close to delivering to our clients what we can. And even at the adjusted rate, you are still getting an awesome bargain.
So if you want the best training in the industry, bar-none… you had better lock in the unbelievably low prices in May, as the first week of February sold out in short order. So lock in the lower rates before the prices go up again.

"Hang Time"
A well built and thought out concealment garment can make the difference between life and death, as the last thing you want to be fiddling with in a fight for life is a garment that is not sweeping out of your way easily; interfering with your grip, or even worse, becoming entangled in your grip as you attempt to draw your handgun.
A good concealment garment will give you instant access to your firearm and your magazines, shrinking your OODA Loop and giving you one less thing to worry about during the fight.
As you can see from the above photo, a properly built garment is easily swept to the side, out of the shooters way, and it will reach the apex of it’s swing with enough “hang time” to afford the shooter time to establish a proper grip on the handgun before the swept garment falls back to the shooter’s side.
The obvious prerequisite for proper concealment is a handgun that lends itself to concealment (a sufficiently small enough stock), a good concealment holster, and a quality magazine pouch; basically equipment that will reduce the printing (your firearm showing through your clothing) effect on your clothing. Yeah, it's kind of like that...
I have been asked to clarify my seemingly “anti-competitive” statements on the home page of my website. It appears that some people have taken the truth of the statement as some attempt at slandering the competitive shooters. Some are beginning to say that O2DA Training is “competitive hostile.” That’s simply not true, I am not degrading the competitive sports, I am simply pointing out some facts.
As I point out on the our home page, I do admire those shooters who have mastered their sport. Furthermore; as long as the shooter is using his “carry” equipment and utilizing proper techniques, the competitive arena can help to enhance ones balance of speed and accuracy.
Having said that, I want to once again stress that I truly believe that being a great competitive shooter will not enhance your survivability in a real life fight for life where someone is actively trying to kill you. Read the rest of this entry »
